Learning to Play - c. Reno

My MFA final thesis 3-D animated short film, Learning to Play is about an uptight golfer, Niles, and a playful dog, Carson, meeting on a golf course.

This story is a tribute to Carson, one of my favorite dogs, who tragically died from cancer while I was searching for a story idea for my master's thesis film in 2006. This story is inspired by the memory of him fetching golf balls that I'd hit into the pasture back home. Many of Carson's mannerisms can be seen in the film. He was 8 years old.
