80s BBC Arena documentary on the Washington Go-Go funk scene, luckily I recorded this when it was broadcast as it doesn't seem to be online anywhere else.
Featuring Trouble Funk, Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers, Experience Unlimited, Class Band, Redds and the Boys, Slug-Go and various interviews at T.T.E.D. records. Judging by other things on the same tape it was broadcast in 1986.

Blown away to find this ! Thanks for posting, I recorded this programme in 86 in |York (UK) and I reckon 50% of what you have posted is missing from what was broadcast. Absolutely brilliant to see the "full" version. Especially the longer Chuck Brown. The last few minutes are excellent, a brilliant young rapper followed by an amazing piece of jazz under the end titles.I have the tape if anyone can convert it. BRILLIANT

So glad you posted this!!! I recorded it (on VHS) too when it was broadcast and have to find someone to convert it to DVD. SERIOUSLY glad you posted this because I think this is the best documentary done on go go yet.
