Yes, Russert was smart. Yes, he was fair. Yes, he brought insight, intellect and common sense to both his audience, and the people in the hot seat.

What this video reminded me of though, with his math on the whiteboard, was "Florida, Florida, Florida", in 2000.

Tim Russert didn't need a six-figure, LCD, touchscreen computer machine to show how the system works.

He is missed by many. I have a feeling he kind of knew how this election turned out.
