That happens to everyone, I almost broke my knees hitting a snow drift like that. My feet slid in front of the pegs and when I went forward my legs locked me in. I was on a shorter bike though so the handle bars weren't as far from the pegs.

oh man.. brings back terrible memories. Swamping your bike in muddy water sucks.
