  • This is airing on Boomerang after The Powerpuff Girls tonight at 10:54.

  • The elevator operator sounds like Rochester from Jack Benny

  • The desk operator at the beginning was calling for "Dr. Cyclops", mad scientist in the famous science fiction/horror movie released the very same year (1940). I thought this was a nice idea of the animtors to include in this cartoon besides the "Dr. Chris Chun" reference --both of which would have been understood by the audience at that time.

  • 2:39 as the seen transitions watch the guys arms on the left they move from lap to head!

  • a bugs bunny prototype cameo!awesome!

On May 28, 1934 to be exact.

Only two of the quints are alive to this day (to be 77 years old in eight days): Annette and Cecile.

The first of the quints to pass away was Emilie, who died August 6, 1954 at age 20 from a freak accident involving suffocation during an epileptic seizure at a convent. Marie was next up on the death list (February 27, 1970, age 35) due to a blood clot. Yvonne was the third to go, succumbing to cancer on June 23, 2001 at age 76.

  • what bugs was before what we all know him as today

  • @31operafan yeah, that's very true.I've noticed that over the years too.

  • @Lacroix67 Disney had a habit of recycling their animation, just like Warner Brothers.
