True enough, but the ability to harness electricity was “created” by individuals backed by corporations.

Actually, a portion of the electricity consumed in the USA is provided by Canadian producers, and the vast majority of them are Crown Corporations - owned by the people, for the people. Hydro-Québec would be one example.

Now please get back to lecturing us all on the evils of capitalism. Perhaps another movie where you make $20 million dollars trashing our economic system is in order. Consider this, okay I had your thinking pattern too, but I challenge you to consider this,

lets purely talk supreme court, we got 5 judges who are in favor of legalized bribery at Govt. level and to "lobby" congress when you elect them. the politicians you elect regardless of party affiliation, will be tempted by "lobbying groups" thats the root of all evil,

if we get judges who are liberal, they will block citizen united, why give Romney that chance to make the supreme court more extreme ?.

Because America does not have instant run off voting and the electoral college still decides the presidency. Get ballot questions for IRV and to get rid of the electoral college.
