The "Roundtable" of "This Week" discusses the White House's war with Fox News Channel.
Referring to comments made by White House Communications Director Anita Dunn, George Will says that Fox News might be "opinion journalism," but that also "describes The New York Times, and certainly MSNBC."
Will also tells George Stephanopoulos that there is "a bullying aspect" in the Obama administration's tactics toward the cable network.
Laura Ingraham pointed out that when "an esteemed journalist" in Charles Gibson had no clue about the ACORN scandal, there was "a collective gasp across the United States."
"Every administration tries to manipulate the news media," comments Cynthia Tucker, before giving an example from the Bush administration propping other journalists.
Says Bloomberg's Al Hunt: "I must say I'm amused that Karl Rove is shocked that they would go after the press."
Why did no-one call out Laura Ingraham when she talked about the ACORN "scandal"? It was a lie perpetuated by James O'Keefe, Hannah Giles, Andrew Breitbart and her employer FOX. The administration was right to go to war with the Republican Party's media arm.

@compassionrepublican Wrong. CNN was called Clinton News Network by Rush Limbaugh, who dictates terms to American right-wingers. The reason CNN was thus termed by Limbaugh is that CNN, like any respectable news network, refused to pick up on tabloid right-trash magazine stories, and they refused to paint Clinton as the "devil". Facts are like kryptonite to right-wingers, and that's why they hate CNN.

Ingraham is a joke.
The Acorn scandal was a corporate backed ploy to take the heat off of Wall Street and put it on poor and middle class Main Street.
Ingram and Will have their head up their asses. I could easily show you how they said the opposite things about Bush and the media.
It is all about confusing public opinion and obfuscating the truth so the people wont participate. And it is not just Repubs, Both sides play the game.
I and others could out debate Will, but not allowed 2bcn

Fox News is nothing more then minority propaganda machine, its never been a credible news outlet. Fox News has been waging "war" on everything left of rightwing extremist since its conception. People buying the trash Fox News pushes are automatons; religiously and political indoctrinated; a detriment to our species. If you're patriot and an American, your only good and right options are to learn how to use that thing between your ears for the 1st time, or kill yourselves; please decide quickly.
