In 1983 Thorpe Park opened The Magic Mill. A slow paced boat ride taking guests along a water channel, through grassy banks and flower gardens.
Toward the end of the trip, boats would travel into the mill itself to a musical theme of "the Frog Song" from the animated film "Rupert and the frog song".
In 1994 and as part of the Ranger County development, the ride was re-themed as Mr Rabbits Tropical Travels.
In 2000, the ride was badly damaged due to a fire and was closed. It re-oped in 2001, but was it's last season as it was finally removed to make way for the B&M inverted coaster Nemesis Inferno that would open in 2003.

I miss the days when Thorpe Park was family orientated. There are too many thrill seeker rides now :(
