@herrwizo Good job :)) I started playing guitar 20 years ago because of MK and also got into fingerpicking guitar. I like your video HOW IT IS, clean sound helps to understand the notes being played and original song on the backtrack helps as a real base(backtracks are sometimes unacurate or cheesy).If I want to listen to the song I put the original,if I want to learn it and see the fingering your video is just PERFECT. Only improvement possible is reference for right hand & thumb.My respects:)

@kgiorgos
Squier affinity with 3 fender texas special pickups --> Marshall JH1 pedal --> Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp. In front of the amp there is Shure 545 Unidyne III mic going to E-MU 1212M soundcard via home-made preamp and everything goes to Cubase SX 2 software. This was my old equipment, for more than a year I'm using MK strat and Fender Twin Reverb amp.

i love your stuff and have subscribed already but my tiny critisism is why not use pro backing tracks cos i can hear the origonal guitar in the background still.

It's simple - I don't have any :) If you have them, I'll be glad to use them :D
Actually, I tend to record so that my guitar is much louder than Mark's which doesn't always work. However, I'm open to suggestions, and I would've used backing tracks a long time ago only if I had any...

Congratulations man, you play the song very well.
If you want to make it perfect, you need the volume pedal (as said by other people already).
Also, I don't know why you play it clean, when the song is clearly distorted. I am afraid it is very hard to get that powerful distortion on a start. Mark uses a Les Paul for this. Keep up the good work!

Perfectly true - I don't have volume pedal, and I'm very well aware that MK uses Les Paul. You have to use what you have ;)
