Great thing about rugby is that despite all this, the players by and large get on really well with the refs, and while we always moan about dodgy calls, the game couldnt be played without them.

mast of those dodgy situations were because he was either stood in an obvious silly place or not looking at what he was doing but damm some of those hits were fair lol we all love the ref really haha well kinda haha

I think it was Italy vs Scotland - I know he caught a ball again in one of the later matches he was officiating.

referees, love 'em or hate 'em, without them there'd be no game. Go the ref's. Oh and they have a sense of humour too, in a Colts game 1981, the ref said to me "you haven't been sent off have you" I said "no" and he replied "let me see what I can do",
best behaved game I ever had and the prick kept smiling at me the whole game.!
