Our Alaskan Adventure, Slamon Fishing on the Talkeenta River Talkeenta Alaska.

Mahay's Riverboat Service is situated at the confluence of the Talkeetna River and Susitna River Alaska. The Talkeetna River is part of the Susitna River drainage system which boasts the second largest run of migrating fish in the world. Prime fishing for the avid angler.

  • Hello , Israel . If I never make it back , just know that my two summers in Talkeetna were the high light of Alaska . Reds on the Russian were a close second , grayling on the tundra , halibut at Homer and Seward were all fun , but Talkeetne is the heart of Alaska .
