If you ever listen to his radio program, he absolutely hates it when you talk about race, He works very hard to be color blind. I get the impression he wants to be recognized for his intellect and not his skin color. Nice work Mr. Elder

What do you mean by "a credit to his race"? That alone is a racist statement. That's like saying..."Hey, meet my black friend Dion. And don't worry, he won't rob you."

It implies that good blacks are rare, and most blacks are criminals. Maybe you're not racist, but using "a credit to your race", is straight out of Jim Crow days.

Blacks as a group have a poor record, wouldn't you agree? So you tell me who they have for a role model, is mr. Elder close to color blind? i think so, most blacks are not.

By the way, I don't agree with Elder politically, but I respect him. He's a smart guy.

this is very interesting. however, i think it is pathetic that conversations like this still exist. something as childish as 'racism' is somehow clouding judgment of character? and then some black people (and other 'minorities') think that racism is only one way? if you can be hated by the color of your skin, then you can hate by the color of theirs.
