While in a quadruped position and hands placed on a fit-ball (or other stationary object), raise one arm from the ball moving your shoulder blade down your torso and hold for 2 seconds, then slowly lower your arm to the surface. Repeat this on both sides if necessary.

  • If one understand shoulder kinesiology then one will know that working the lower traps will improve on scapular biomechanics, and thus the shoulder joint (G-H).

This particular exercise that the Physiotherapist is demonstrating is excellent for those needing rehab, and for the general population as well. 5/5 stars.

  • this is actually a great exercise for scapular health
