RB2: Pixies "Monkey Gone to Heaven", Expert Drums FC, 5G*, 111875

Pixies "Monkey Gone to Heaven", released as a DLC single for the Rock Band series of video games on 6/24/2008 as part of the "Doolittle" full album download, and played by S1ckH4nds in Rock Band 2 for Xbox 360 on Expert Drums in Local Band Quickplay mode on 12/27/2009.

Final score was 111,875 with a 925 note streak and 100% of notes hit as a full combo for five gold stars.

I know this is nothing too terribly impressive, but this is my first real expert drums FC (not counting "Polly" and "Cups and Cakes", both of which have no pedal). My GF SaikoSakura bought me a Rock Pedal for Christmas, as I've been getting more interested in learning RB drums over the past few months. I've had to test drums for Rock Band Network songs, and I've improved a lot from where I was three months ago (pretty much nothing but Easy/Medium). Plus, this is just a plain great song. Glad that I could add another notch in my belt with a classic Pixies track!

I would definitely count Polly and Cups and Cakes in your list of drum FC's. Just because those songs are easier than your typical lower tiered tracks doesn't make the FC's any less impressive. You should try out some of the Weezer tracks on drums. They're just as simple and straightforward on expert as this song.

Good luck in your pursuit of Drum FC's. I'd suggest trying Ride a White Swan (no pedal), Running (easy, but has a solo at the end) and Pork and Beans for your next Drum/OMB FC's.
