Just like wushu, wrestling takes endurance, strength, skill, and years of training. Dont underestimate wrestling, its just putting yourself on the same level as people who underestimate wushu.

You seem to not know the difference between professional wrestling (WWE, TNA, etc) and Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. The latter two were the Olympic sports that got removed. Professional wrestling was never in the Olympics.

Wrestling is an original Olympic sport, and as a martial art it's older than Wushu by a long shot.

Just a note to every commenter here: It's not a fight! It doesn't mean to be a fight. The one here is a show, if you're looking for a real wushu fighting skill go somewhere else. This is the "art" part of wushu.

wushu and wrestling are both an art...it takes a lot of training to master it....and wushu is not fake niether wrestling but we cant deny the fact that sometimes wrestling is scripted right ? no one should compare wrestling and wushu because they're fucking different and they're unique in different ways...its actually not about the art its about the person and how he use it....

The wrestling that you are referring to is known as WWE or Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment which is exactly that ENTERTAINMENT. The wrestling he is referring too is a 100% real competitive combat sport that takes years of training and hard work. I agree that Wushu takes lots of hard work and endurance but to say that wrestling takes none of that is simply false.

Comments like these frustrates me. You have to understand from a point of view of someone who's been doing wrestling for years. There is two types of wrestling, the actual wrestling (grappling), and the "WWE". There's no such thing as "faking" in a match, unless you're referring to WWE and other sports like that, then that's different. If you really want to see a good wrestler look up George St Pierre. Point being, no hate on wushu, and wrestling. They are both good at what they were meant to do
