Yes, Kira needed Athrun to save him or Kira would be dead against Michael very early on the fight.

Only against grunts/cannon fodder. When Kira's against a main character, he actually struggles trying to dodge, and sometimes get hit or tries to block it.

to me when kira's doing that HiMAT position there's a-lot of opening and apparently seed-soldiers are idiots who stand still and die i can find a-lot of scenes of that and not the least 1 bit make effort except those bad gundams

examples:calamity raider forbidden what i mean here is kira should have died but NO the soldiers always seems to miss even through the show clearly show freedom is just standing still preparing to shoot

Plot armor nerfs all the non important character's stats though

Zeta and Wing Zero possibly but seeing as one's a New type with that Overpowered Bio sensor, and the other has the Zero system its harder to tell. Good example are the gundam meisters had problems fighting their Aces even if they had better gundams than the bad guys. The Bad guys Best pilot was probably Ali Al Sarshez which probably rivaled Duo or Trowa's piloting skills, if he's lucky Zechs'. By the time Freedom Zero and Zeta came around they were ACEs, vs the Bad pilot meisters.

@alchoholicsementhful You say they have such great speeds, yet its just great speeds in comparison to their own series. As stated before They had difficulties fighting an army of Robots thats were far weaker than any mobile suit from other animes. Strike freedom could destroy one of those armies 10 times the size. There's no guarantee that their beam weapons are as crappy as the Flags beam sabers. Also Trans am lasts what, 5 minutes at most? Thats not enough to annihilate Freedom Gundam.

@Vegerunks123 Please do enlighten me, i find this topic very very interesting especially once Trans Am kicks in and turns Exia into a speed demon that can outmaneuver most 2nd Gen Protagonist Gundams(Zeta,Freedom,Wing Zero)

and About the Tech, since Freedom does not have any GN Capability(Unless its fanfiction where we can suddenly turn his Beam Sabers to GN Beam Sabers)Should not the weapons do minimal damage to exia? I mean the Flags also had those sabers and they were not able to cut through the armor of a normal gundam right? Although I wan't the Strike to win seeing as it was a very interesting concept, I am pretty sure not all the weapons work.

@alchoholicsementhful Gs arent speed its the force it puts on you when turning(thats why he coughed up blood when manuevering hard) Freedom is most likely stronger.

It has been said in the show that the Freedom was in the 10G acceleration range(Whatever that is, it just means faster acceleration to me) and the Custom Flag(Not even a GN Gundam)was capable of 15Gs with the limiters off......

if that were the case then the Exia will fly circles around Freedom right? let alone Strike and Trans Am should be 3x faster..........
