Oh gosh, it is amazing! Do you have any tabs/a "how to" video?

@muzikman74 got the tuning. just can;t see your fingers straight at camera.lol any chance for a tab explanation? Or maybe a slower breakdown of the shuffle. you definitely motivate me to keep learning the Reedster

Phil you are an awesome player. I've been a Reed fan all my life. I'm sure he's smiling down on you my friend. Do you by chance have any 70's or 80's vintage stuff of Jerry playing a Tele? I'm looking for videos of Jerry Playing chicken Picken Tele stuff before he hung up his thumb pick in the early 80's and went the straight pick route for awhile.

any way you can slow this down for us? its awesome!

You are welcome, Phil. You play great on all the stuff I have seen on this channel. You made me work up Georgie Girl again, which I played a long time ago when I was about 18, and then I forgot about it. It would be fun doing some Chet and Jerry stuff together.

It's not a guitar with that tuning. It's some other instrument. That tuning is not acceptable in the real world.Read what Chet A. says about tunings other than standard for guitar.

It is certainly guitar, exactly the way Jerry played one on that record mentioned. Besides, Chet did recordings himself in all kinds of weird tunings in addition to the more "normal" open tunings. In "the real world" he would be interested in everything that sounded good, including any tuning. However he preferred. like most of us, to stay mostly in the regular tuning. What Phil does here is great, and with a good groove to it.

@WorkshopMusic Thanks for the kind words Claes...we should get together at CAAS in the future and do some tunes from Me&Chet and Me&Jerry.....you can do Chet's part and I can do Jerry's.
