Electric Light Orchestra - Mr. Blue Sky (Remastered Audio)

"Mr. Blue Sky" is a song by the rock group "Electric Light Orchestra (AKA ELO)" It was the second single to be taken from the album "Out of the Blue" and released thus in January 1978. The single reached number 6 in the UK number 35 in the USA. In 2006, The Delgados released a cover of the song on their Peel Sessions compilation.

The song was voted as Anthem of the Midlands and is played before each Birmingham City Football Club home game to honour Jeff Lynne and his friendship retired football player Trevor Francis.

coming out of a stage of depression and hearing this song is so relevant...like the metaphor that sun is happy and night is sad...and understanding the two and putting them in proper perspectives and taking control is what this song means to me...

I first heard this song in the theme to the short lived NBC TV Drama "LAX". So sad the show went off the air, but at least I got exposed to ELO as a result. I couldn't be happier. One of the all time great bands. Jeff Lynne is a genius.
