Very nice racking gait. It is so smooth. Like a rocking chair. Same with the tennessee walking horse.

@mthorselove isnt that gait just AMAZING...I love my rocky haha

Looks like he has nice baroque-like confirmation. You should consider registering/listing him as a stallion with the new Gaited Baroque Horse Association, too - I think they might love to list a stallion like him.

Beautiful horse with a very smooth gait! :)

What a stunner he is!! I'm a little nutty for a chocolate Rocky because my first horse was one ;)
Looks like a real joy!

@sbdreamin Thanks. This was my first attempt at a You Tube video. Unfortunately my neighbor was mowing his lawn while we were filming. That is what that dreadfull noise in the background is. This little shorty video got so much attention, was rated and had comments, that I couldn't delete it and make it "nicer". So I'm very appreciative that it has gotten the attention that it has.

wow that gait looks extremely comfortable. you barely move. Which is easier the normal trot where you have to go " up, down up,down" according the the horses movement, or this one?

@fram3work This is easier than posting a trot. Gaited horses are a "comfort" ride, easy on the riders body as there is no jolt or work to it. Rocky Mountain horses are a breed that you can ride all day and not be sore.

is it comfortable to ride like that? i just ride quater horses and i am just curious as to how comfortable that trot? is

It is extremely comfortable! Smooth as glass. :)This is a gaited horse, it isn't trotting. Watch the top line of my hat, notice how it doesn't bounce. (See the other video's of him, it's the same.) It is a 4 beat gait. Only 1 foot on the ground at a time. This makes the ride very comfortable to the rider. If you ever get a chance, ride a mountain horse....you'll get hooked. Thanks for asking.
