X-Plane 9 - CF-104 Starfighter over Germany

Taking the wonderful CF-104 by Classic Jet Simulations out for a little ride, to intercept a russian Tu-95 Bear over Western Germany.

Are these the default cloud textures or are you using alternative ones?

@vinc082 They are just the default ones, but I added a layer of cumlus clouds in the weather menue of X-Plane.

Nice video... thanks for posting. I like when you first fly in formation with the Bear, the radar sweep line is in time with the music! Did you use the air-to-air radar mode to find the plane?

@classicjetsims Hehe thank you. :) I didn't really use the radar to find the airplane in the video cuz I just placed the Bear over there on the X-Plane local map. But still it's a great feature, I also like to use the Air to Ground mapping modes, there are not to many simulations for the PC that realistically depict something like that.

Great vid,best one yet of this new plane, at least you showd the VC a little bit. What speed do you do at touchdown?

Yes that's true because I have the realtime shadows of X-Plane disabled cuz they really decrease performance too much in my eyes.
