Starving to death in Argentina - 12 Aug 07

Since July, 12 members of the Toba tribe have died from malnourishment and associated diseases. In a country in the midst of an economic boom, human rights groups are blaming the government for neglecting Argentina's original inhabitants.

Everyone should know that Argentina, in partucular, has a definite darkside. For alot of people there, life is not all Tango and dulce de leche. Prices are sky-high, wages are low by G8 standards, yet somehow, they still keep their heads up. As a whole, they have class, and a sense of family, something that most people in much richer countries left bhind a long time ago. Give 'em some credit and stop the bashing (which incedentally helps no one).

The slow extermination of the indigenous species should bring nothing but shame on Argentina. Lets look at Australia and the Aborigines, you can see that Australia have tried, but alot of the particularly male, Aboriginal young need to help themselves by getting off of drugs. Argentina's "everything they can" just looks worthless.
