Tribute to Cathey

Dedicated to Cathelia Elizabeth McDonough a.k.a Cathey. She was my best friend and one of the most intelligent people I ever knew. She died in 2005 due to a rare known illness called Frederich's ataxia that confined her to a wheelchair.

This is my way of keeping Cathey in my heart and remember my best friend for the spunky, wonderful friend she was.

My sister suffers from FA, she is now 35, symptoms started when she was a child and progressed, along the way she has lost all her friends, you lose contact, as well as at a young age most of us choose to deal with less complicated friends, she was so lucky to have someone like you, i hope you realize that , apart from all her complications you made her life so much better, god bless the both of you

my fiance is pregnant right now she has FA. i worry so much when i am at work. she is such a beautiful person. she is 29 and in a wheel chair as well. but why should anybody base a relationship on such a small issue. she is a person to and yeah man god bless you for nieng there for that girl. it takes a real man\woman to be able to be true to themselves and there true friends.

update my girl had the baby june of 08 lol its been a while since i found this vid again. she is great the baby is great. my girl friends is a very slow progressing or mild ataxia. she wouldnt date me back when i first met her. she thought she wasnt gonna make it this far. but she has a great specialist now and he says she should make it a long time.

I had a best friend in primary school. We went to different high schools, and at that time he had been diagnosed with leukemia. He endured for several years, but God loved him more. He died at the age of 16.
