  • The benifit is weight...your big block weighs 8-900 lbs. This is only 140 lbs. 88.5 MPH so far...Because of it's weight or lack of,it needs droop snoot, ride plate,B impellar for 100 + mph.Another beifit is 100k hrs at 100% engine...V8 blows up

  • @turbineboat ,

Hello turbineboat, that's a nice piece of work. I am building an equivalent small turbine boat as well (in a faltboot), but I am struggling with the transmission. How did you solve this, because the rpm window of a gas turbine is rather small (30,000-52,000)? CVT or hydraulic pump and motor?

  • yay lake tampon.

  • killer run

  • You need to wear your PFD, even at the slow speeds this boat runs, things can happen...

  • Just out of curiosity, how much better is the performance on that thing at 320hp compared to a regular big block or something? It looked like it kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 320 HP. Thats it? I hope my jetboat kicks ass. Im putting in a 383 stroker with 400 HP and a 200 shot of nitrous. Cant wait to get it on the lake.

  • wow what engine did you rig on that boat!?
