The Piano sounds as dead as the Narrator - this guy is an example of why you should ''just say no'' to Marajuana.

@Peacefrog35: He said it was a stage model; there were no Sparkle Top Stage models, but the first year of the Stage's production, 1970, they used the old Raymac tone bars, which were aluminum and shaped as we see here.

@milvesmilves: No, that actually adjusts the escapement, or the aim of the tine at the pickup. It won't fix a loss-of-sustain problem, but a sustain clip is a quick and inexpensive solution.

@guilhermeruppert: Your problem is easily fixed with a sustain clip, which restores the sustain on tone bars that have lost their sustain with age. Google Vintage Vibe or Speakeasy or other parts suppliers for this inexpensive fix. Vintage Vibe posts many repair videos on you tube. if you click on their name you can get to their page and on to their web site. They have also posted a video on this specific topic.

try adjusting the two screws that are closest to the keyboard. sounds like they might be to tight so loosen them a little, one at a time and the sound should change.
you said that one is from '69? But your front panel says "RHODES" and Rhodes splitted up from Fender in '75.

nice observation! the front panel was exchanged to a friend fully restoring a sparkle top...this piano was originally a sparkle top itself, but has since been modified.
