@012751W124K And by the way, you will not reduce the good karma that you get from singing out this mantra if you share the merits to other people. You can share the merits with thousands of people (as many names that you wanna put in) and still get the same amount of good karma for yourself. How do I know all this? My Shi Fu taught me (He's a fully qualified and pure Bhikku).

How to share merits or eradicate bad karma& dispell disaster from chanting this mantra song:
1. Sing out this mantra song, after you finish,
2. Say "Namo Avalokitesvara (Because this mantra is Avalokitesvara's), may this good karma that I generated from singing out this mantra reduces my bad karma and improves my health/beauty/work performance. May this good karma that I generated also be shared to (person) so that he can get well/ blah blah.
3. After ur done, say "Namo Avalokitesvara" & ur done

Beautiful. Does anyone have the lyrics in Sanskrit by any chance?

@joey143anna Its the feeling and the thought that counts. The great Gautam Buddha never asked us to follow religion. He asked us to follow the path of light and truth. I'm Hindu myself, and so does Lord Krishna tell us. There is no religion. Just the path of righteousness. Hence, it doesn't even matter if you're Christian and you're listening to this, my friend. God Bless.

I was chanting Heart Sutra from home to school, then after chanting finished I felt peace.
I will try to chant every single day and eating vegetarian :D
@joey143anna First, and foremost, Buddhism can be taken as more of a philosophy than a world religion. The Gautama Buddha himself focused inward and found truths fundamental to life as we know it. This philosophy is something you and I and anybody else can relate to our respective lives. I don't think the Buddha intended his philosophy to be considered a steadfast religion, with gods, idols, and all. Thus, Buddhism is not a religion, much less paganism, as it is a fundamental life philosophy.
