Thompson and Romney don't answer the question "WHAT WILL THEY DO?" The only cut significant enough would be the defence budget which none of them except Ron Paul would cut. Ron Paul is the only one who would end all wars and bring all troops home immediately. The military industrial complex however will do its utmost to make sure the war machine remains generously oiled.

ROMNEY.... said don't over spend (Obama has done this and now look!!!) and is the ONLY one who mentions Asia.... back then and today.... ROMNEY IS THE BEST CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT FOR THE ECONOMY - PERIOD!
The latest Congress / Senate election speaks to this as well.... OUT with the spending fools and in with people who know, understand and can make things right!

Social Security needs to be replaced with energy investment accounts. You put as much money as you want into geothermal energy. Than they store the energy produced to back a dollar. You than get rid of medicare and social security with this. Also you replace welfare and medicaid with job insurance. There will be 2 kinds the public option one which is 100% paid for by you and always must be balanced and private which works however the private wants it to work.
