I <3 this song becuz it speaks to the roots of Native warrior culture as well as the modern day warriors who continue to fight for a country that has tried to exterminate them for 500 yrs. But, if you ask any veteran about why they do it, they'll say becuz THIS IS MY LAND and they have an obligation to protect it no matter what. Great song!

once again this song is SOLID! i'd like to know more about this dynamic. how natives were slaughtered by the u.s. military, yet some natives seem to be the most "patriotic" people. i personally don't feel that the military is any place for all people of color and i am both of color and a veteran.
