@DeathbringerShini Whoa, I didn't know that! I'm good with planets but not so good with mythology. Expecially with the Japanese one, and this is a Japanese cartoon. I knew about Virgo which generally is also Gemini (like me) XD. So overall, because of the Japanese mythology "Suisei", Mercury has water attacks even though on the planet there isn't any. Cool, we all learn somenthing NEW everyday!! :)

@supersigle Sailor Mercury bore the name of the innermost planet of the Solar System, which in turn is named after the Roman messenger god Mercury. The planet's Japanese name is "Suisei" (水星; lit. "Water Star"). In Western astrology, Mercury is the "ruler" over Ami's birth sign, Virgo. Also, Sailor Mercury used a lyre for her Aqua Rhapsody attack; Greek mythology attributes the invention of this instrument to the god Hermes (the Greek equivalent of Mercury).

@shakeyshaki It's from one of the special episodes. The one called "Ami's first Love".
You can even watch it on Youtube =]

@Filipe304 Thank you! :D Gosh I miss Sailor Moon. Just finished it recently though hahahaa. But it doesn't exactly follow the manga right?

@shakeyshaki Well, I read those arcs/chapters related to the "S season" only. I got shocked of the huge difference lol Like, the enemies aren't looking for "Pure Hearts crystals", the daemons/heartsnatchers are all the same ugly thing lol

Its funny how all her attacks contain water, planet Mercury is the closest planet from the sun, it doesn't contain water, no atmosphere and it is constantly bombarded by astroids. Ami should know this, after all she is the smartest one of the group. :)

Maybe it's something related to old mythology? =o
