Couch potatoes like in this video need to expand their lungs once in a while, but overbreathing is actually a major problem with many people. Making people breathe deeper when they are sedentary is a way of inducing asthmatic conditions.
@trisoma1 Coach potatoes? One of the clients in the video is a PhD student in computer science who frequently enjoys hiking and walking. I would think twice before making assumptions about people whom you do not know at all. Yes, many people overbreathe, but expanding breathing capacity does not imply "overbreathing". The fact is, so many people UNDERbreathe, and the idea is to help those people regain their breathing capacity. There are many benefits of the resulting increased oxygenation.
