Original airdate: December 21, 1983. Captain Vegetable visits the street, bringing his trademark carrots and celery along. Among other uses, he teaches the letter C and plays "Three of These Things" with the vegetables.

Other notable highlights--

* Cartoon: Two children try different methods of waking up a wilting plant, until they revive it with water.
* Guy Smiley game show: Grover plays "Name That Sound", giving over-specific answers to the host's questions.
* Pinball Number Count (#2--amusement park)
* Olivia sings "Look Around, Look Around" over footage of changing seasonal landscapes, asking children what happens each time.
* Swedish Number Animation: 2 giraffes (Owe Gustafson; NO voice identifies the number here!)
* Telly sees Susan locked outside her car.
* Old bottles are made into new ones at a recycling plant.
* Cartoon: A shoemaker measures his customers' feet with a ruler.
* While stuck on a desert island together, Maria and Luis encounter a stranger (actually Bob).
* Cookie Monster sings "Me Going to Munch You, Munch You, Munch You"
* Cartoon: A man gets the letter C in the mail, then discusses C-words with his friend.
* Grover teaches "quiet" and "loud" by varying his voice--in a public library.
* Cartoon: a yak brags about its knowledge of the letter Y, but becomes angry when an offstage voice calls him a "yakity-yakity-yak."
* Sinister Sam hunts for missing crayons in a saloon: "I wanna know Y!"
* Cab Calloway sings "The Hi-De-Ho Man"
* Joe Raposo sings "There's a Bird on Me" (original, live-film version)
* Cartoon: Typewriter Guy (Y for Yo-yo)
* Cartoon: Cars cross the street at a "walk" sign, by walking on their back tires.

* Cartoon: the life of the Yellow Yahoo.
* Gordon tricks Oscar into demonstrating "loud" vs. "quiet".

  • Looks like this was a TVO airing because of the old TVOntario logo that shows up at the start

  • @leafsfan18: I get recordings from almost anywhere, thanks to some of my collector friends. This is the first time I've actually seen evidence of the US version of "Sesame Street" airing across the border; I remember reading that the CBC complained about the dirty urban setting being too American (which inspired the changes in "Sesame Park").

  • O_o do you have the whole Little Prince?! You should upload that

  • @pokinsmot : Unfortunately, I can't upload what I don't have. No hard feelings?

  • @Pocockable: Unfortunately, the only "Sesame Park" clips I've seen are the ones already uploaded here; none of your requests ring any bells.

  • @leafsfan18

I live in Canada and I've also been trying to find Canadian Sesame Street sketches, including the perogie, "Mon Amis", "My Father, My Friend, and I", and bannock sketches.

  • OH GOD I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS EVERYWHERE.

  • ahh the good ol days when times were good

  • @ISNorden That reminds me, you wouldn't happen to have any CBC airings of classic Sesame Street episodes would you?

  • I was so excited to hear another Olivia song hear on YouTube, but that's not Olivia singing "Look Around, Look Around". Something in her voice actually sounds more like the lady who sings over the cartoon about the changing seasons ("It's springtiiiiiiiime"...)...some people think the lady who sang over that cartoon segment was Liza Minnelli.
