These are a couple of the exercises I use to increase and solidify my high range on tenor trombone.
I would usually do one a day, if at all, and always after an extensive warmup (see my other videos).
A good, low, warm down is also a really good idea if you value your chops.
Remember- take it easy! if you miss a note three times, then quit for the day on range work.

  • the best way to learn something on trombone (or any instrument) is slowly, methodically and with patience.

    If it feels good, keep playing, if it doesn't, play something that does.

    Blow don't push.
