She loved an Indian brave this shy little prairie maid
and then one day he rode away to battle far away..

I've been searching for this song for years! A lady at our church use to play it for me back in the 60's 70's, and I thought I would never find it again. And what is so nice is that it is played just like she played it!!!! Wonderful!!! I'll listen again and again, it blesses my heart.

My Grandma use to play to me when I was just a little girl and it took me almost 30 years to hear someone play it just like she did.. Thanks for the heart felt memory

oh my gosh.. My dad says that my grandma was GIFTED on piano.. I can imagine her playing it like that. She learned this on accordian. It's kind of sad for me because they played this song at her funeral last december.. This is my grandma's song (literally)
