Henry only provided coronations for his first two wives. Katharine of Aragon shared his coronation in 1509; Anne's lavish ceremony took place on 1st of June 1533. She would be executed almost exactly three years later.

The coronation was not a success, despite its expense. Anne was not popular. Insults were shouted; mocking laughter was heard. - Wikipedia

  • I'm sorry, but when Thomas Boleyn spoke at the beginning - All I could think of was Severus Snape from Potter Puppet Pals!! Haha xx

  • I bet while Anne was sitting there she was like "OMG!!!He's putting the crown on my head!!OMG OMG OMG!! *Squealing lol

  • @SnickerBaby09 LOL..Yep, I agree:)

  • As much as I hate Anne Boleyn the Tudors portrayal of the coronation is absolutely mesmerizing. Natalie Dormer looks like a Goddess in that scene.

  • @xlovexothersxalsox She does look gorgeous, I agree! Natalie is just a beautiful woman to me. I love her!

  • and where is Zadok the Priest?? '-'

  • @8niidle13 Season two, episode 2 or 3

  • @HolsteinProductions You're right, it's him.

  • @lovelyprittygirl No it is a fictionnal character, Eleanor Luke, who will become later Henry's mistress. Jane arrived in Anne's household in 1536.

  • Natalie Dormer turned this role into perfection. She truly made Anne Boleyn a fascinating, alluring, tragic, and loathsome woman all at once. I love the subtle smug look on her face at the very end of this clip; her face totally conveys "ha ha, I win"!

  • isn't tthat jane at 2:57

  • which episode was that?
