@CitizenSoldier211 Great Basin rattlers are actually C. oreganus subspecies. The only subspecies of the prairie rattler besides the nominate one is the Hopi rattler.

Nope, not a WDB. It's a Pacific rattlesnake, believe it or not (C. oreganus lutosus, as opposed to C. atrox). A subspecies commonly called the Great Basin rattler.

Great filming guys, beautiful animal. It is actually a great basin rattlesnake ( crotalus viridis) and not a diamondback ( c. atrox) . One of the best specimens that I have ever seen.
