I actually worked at Portland Freightliner Its amazing to see a fine company fall so fast from 114 trucks daily in 1996 to 8 trucks daily 2010.
the Saltillo Mexico plant 2010......was in start up mode= 8 trucks a day.
As you watch the video it obviously show buses at the beginning.....these are employee bus's. (employees are bused to work)
2010 plant opening has opened right at the worst time of class 8 truck building history. Truck production is reported at off by 80% of normal market.
