The Grand Dragon Ladakh is owned and operated by Abdu family from Leh. We have been in the hotel and hospitality business since 1974 when Ladakh was first opened to visitors from around the world. At that time the enterprising Din Mohammed of the Abdu family, opened our first establishment - the Dragon Hotel a fully serviced facility.
With over 30 years experience, meeting the needs of visitors to Ladakh, we now offer you the experience of a lifetime in the luxurious surroundings you have come to expect from a first-class hotel The Grand Dragon Ladakh.
Mr. Din Mohammed still spearheads our business but today is ably assisted by his two sons. Ghulam Mustapha, with his fine arts background, has introduced the famous Rabsal tradition of Ladakhi architecture to the Grand Dragon, while Ghulam Mohiuddin heads our travel agency including the planning and execution of new routes to tempt you.
