  • Can this work on a guitar?

  • yea but how do I clean a camcorder lens!

  • Exactly.

  • Any nitwit should know that saliva is chemical free and non abrasive and therefor great for cleaning a lens. Nobody said you should spit on your camera just like you would not squirt any special liquid on it.

  • i would never spit on my point and shoot camera... a 5,000 camera?..BS!

  • spit....you want me to spit on a 5,000 camera? uhh ill pass thanks

  • Clean camera lenses with saliva?! You gotta be kidding me! This is a camera we're talking about, not your car windscreen!

The reason we divers use saliva to clean our goggles is because it's readily available and goggles don't cost upwards of $1,000!

Like Gqn2 said, why don't you just throw it into the washing machine?
