  • Greatest Job In The World!

  • He has the best philosophy of travel: be willing to be a little out of your comfort zone, the people are more important than the sites, become a temporary citizen of that country and live, eat like they do.

Watching his PBS shows is almost LIKE going on a vacation.

  • I LOVE RICK STEVES!

  • Those look like the kinds of computers and offices RS would have. So homey and unpretentious <3

  • A very interesting insight into the passion of Rick Steves

  • He's totally right! Everything he says is true about travel. An unhealthy majority of Americans are too paranoid to travel or think the world ends at the edge of town. I like that he's taken that and perfected his craft and passion to help us. Ive been all over the world (mostly in Asia) and it's true, you have to enjoy the negatives too. I've had plenty of bad experiences that turn into stories people like. Seeing things through "the tinted window on a bus" is NOT what travel should be...

  • There is now a bill being handed around that would make it a crime for americans who want to go to places like amsterdamn just so they could take advantage of the lack of drug laws.

  • Rick is my main man. I see CBS steered clear of asking him about Marijuana and they were there in Amsterdam too.

  • @soccerskilj thank you.

  • @harrisplayer "Achtung". Thats what Rick Steves said. It means "Attention"

  • Thank You for sharing...saw him in Chicago and was wonderful to see

  • One of my heros! Thing I most respect about Rick is the way he works his worldview and values into everything he does, without being preachy or arrogant, but still being direct and forceful.
