Here I am, still waiting for Nick. After loosing him and knowing he had his life set for another women, I just had to get him back. I mean, I know he does love Selena. As much as it brings me down, I want him happy. But, wasnt he happy to see me? He was happy. If only I could I could get him to see that. He belongs with me, not Selena. Im a fool for breaking up with him. He actually loved me and I let him go. He was there for everything and I left him for someone else because he wanted me. The other man made me happy, knowing he was attracted to me made me soar. I hated being alone and I hurt Nick because of it. I have to make him change his mind about Selena. I need to.
A hostess approached me and asked if I was waiting for someone. I as about to answer no, but then I saw Nick from the corner of my eyes. He looked so HOT! I called him over but he just stared.
Nicks POV
I was down at the bar to get something for Selena and I to drink. Right when I was about to go up, I hear Miley calling my name. I turned around but I just stood there. I already have Selena. And we made up! I cant afford to lose her now. I knew she would answer me sometime soon. All I had to do was real her in and keep her away from Taylor. As much as I loved seeing her happy with him and all of her friends, I would always catch him staring at her differentlylike the way I did when I first met her and the way I still do now.
Miley called me over again but I just gave her a wave and a fake smile, then left. Im not getting anywhere near her if I was going to get Selena to answer me.
Mileys POV
What?! He just left me! He knows I hate being alone. I frowned and sat back down. The hostess came back and I finally ordered. As I sat there, I cant help but reminisce the past. I was a fool to leave Nick. Now Selena has him and I have to face that. Its my entire fault. Why hadnt I answer him when he first proposed? Then maybe we could have little Nick and Miley running around a house we would call our own. I sighed and kept on sipping my drink. I lost him and now I have to deal with it. I might as well leave now and forget about him. I decided to apologize the first thing tomorrow.
The Next Day:
Mileys POV
I text Nick to tell him to come down to the bar for breakfast. He hesitated before texting her back, saying hell be down in a few. Once he got down I stood up and immediately apologized.
`What?` He asked confused.
`Im sorry.` I answered. `For everything, I was wrong to come here and expect you to take me back. Im sorry for ruining your relationship with Selena and Im just going to go home—back to where I belong. I really am so--`
Nick took me into a hug and said it was fine. `You should stay. At least until vacation is over.`
`No, I already messed up. Im just going home.`
`No, you are staying.`
After he said that, I just fell in love with him all over again. That is until I heard sniffling noises. I looked up to se Selena there, and myself feeling even more guilty, so stood u and walked away.
Nicks POV]
`Miley, wait.` I got up then turned to see Selena with her jaw opened wide. He looked back and followed Miley. I was so confused; I dont know what to do.
Selenas POV
I stood there shocked until Taylor came in. He told me that Nick and Miley were at the patio talking. I wasnt sure about interrupting them but I did anyways. I walked over and heard them talking and they didnt even notice me. I heard Miley say she didnt want to stay, t least not with Nick and I together. But then I heard Nick say that he didnt want Miley spending the week alone. My gut clenched when he said that hell talk to me about it.
