I learned that to be VERY strong, all you have to do is pick up a calf the first day it's born... and then pick it up again once each day for the next year... at the end of the year you'll be VERY strong : ) lol

That calf is SOOOOO cute. I love the mix!! We milk some mixes. We milk an Angus cow too. Hows the AngusxHolstein mix? The Hereford x Holstein cross seems real nice as far as the bull calf is concerned. CUTE!!!

We have a few Holstein x Angus that give anywhere from 50-70 pounds. The one gave 80 some last year.

Herefords tend to be bigger calves actually but we just had a big old cow we couldn't settle back so...
