  • My father's got it on vinyl and I've got it on cd... A great album.

I mean, I'm only 16 years old and I've been listening to such stuff for 4 years or so, and for the past year I've been listening almost solely to extreme metal, but, man, this one is what I call an all time classic, I'll never get tired of it. I bet my son will also buy it for himself when he starts discovering this kind of music, if the planet hasn't been destroyed before I have a son, that is.

  • This tune is way too short,

  • This song reminds me of someone I once knew. Harvey Dubs. Rest in Peace, Harvey. God love ya my friend.

  • I've got my 3 year old son hooked on this.

  • @MultiDannyboy89 Bloomfield had great taste.

  • Seeexyyyy!!!!

  • Thanks for posting this, one of the most beautiful and obscure songs of the last 1/2 of the 20th century. Why this hasn't been used as a soundtrack for a blanc and white movie shot in New York City at night is beyond me. Orchestral comp meets a jazz bedding on a par with something Felix Pappalardi might have come up with. I can see the closing credits of WOR TV in New York City when Million Dollar Movie was on in the 60's- b&w car headlights, steam rising from a manhole, swinging phone receiver-

  • @sorryass9988 Aw, come on; how about some 'cynical-optimism' ...,

  • @MegaASHENAFI That makes two of us. Al Cooper's BS&T, was the most authentic combination of Rock and Jazz - for me.

  • This will always be one of my favorite instrumentals. Love those chords.

  • incredible gone music-so much talent!!

  • This album came after CHILD IS THE FATHER TO MAN so it wasn't a "prelude" to it, but it doesn't matter. They are both in the same vein. This was Harvey Brooks' first chance to really shine after playing quietly and unheralded in the background on so many sessions at that time. BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENTAL TUNE.
