Not really. We we're only slightly aware of internal band friction at the time of the making of the vids. We used Peter because he was willling and because he owned a leather jacket (and had not been featured in the other vids we did for Romeo Void.)

Yeah, NO BUDGET other than film stock. I think I had 100.00 for the trinket look and loading flats. Bill Pope (big DP now,) shot this, I think. Wynston Jones and I did the sets and stuff and I produced with Richard Casey.

wish someone would upload all the songs off "benefactor"...it's too good...

Love that shot of Li Po lounge at 1:05. Best Mai Tais in San Francisco, and weird arty SFAI punk shows in the basement, too. I wonder if Romeo Void ever played down there in their early days...

Awesome Song!!!! Man I do Miss Romeo Void!!!

I know Peter Woods said in a post interview that he was a little jealous of not getting as much attention as Deborah. I wonder if making a video that has him be followed in the streets a sort of compromise to give him more attention in the band?

Congrats on 'Stay Strong', Debora!

I've been a fan since 'It's A Condition', from which ths video was made. WTF? The sound is abysmal; everything else is perfect! Pat! Why, oh why, is my favourite band SO unknown??? This is so far ahead of the pack, that no one can TOUCH her!! . Much love, Lou.
I love the look of the video, thrift store or not it has the feel of a John Cassevettes movie.

We shot this after making "Never Say Never". The art direction was thrift store, chinese communist red motiffs and slats with smoke (the low rent Bladerunner look.) the b-story was the guitarist roaming around down in chinatown while a real parade was taking place. Stolen shots. A crew of three shot those pieces on the street. The band like the other vid better but ths one holds up pretty well for a no-budget effort.
