How to Make a Flute - The Project - PART ONE

Here's where we get down to the task of making the side-blown (transverse) flute.

After the last couple of blog posts/videos on the mathematical formula for finding the measurement of wavelengths of different notes (and thus, the length of a flute's body, as well as where to put the fingering holes), and the physics of what goes on inside a flute as to what happens to the air inside it while being played, the task now comes down to how to drill the holes and slowly expand them in order to precisely tune them.

Man, that was great...i have looked everywhere and its just a bunch of people trying to sell there flutes or just giving bits-o-info. Hey man, if you could do something for me (Ill keep trying as well) ive looked everywhere, bing, google, amozon, anything you can think of. im looking for the diminstions of a Dizi (Di-tsu) Its a chineese flute with a couple extra holes to make a kinda "voice" if you could just post or email me a link or whatever, thatd be kool. man just keep up the good work. thx
