Groove Train from I believe it was the Dec. 04 2009 show in Minneapolis. This video will be up temporarily - unless I get people saying to leave it up. Its a good check of the Carvin X-100B and Carvin Guitars Live :-) And Yes, The X-100B is loud enough :-)~.

Volume boost or Gain boost?

I sometimes use a gain boost - but only for those thermal nuclear meltdown solo's..The Carvin X-100B also has a volume boost for solos that actually works great! However, I do not use it as I have used the effects processor for years to boost for solo's - just set the output on my solo patch a little hotter. I hope this answers your question.

Hey it would be sweet if you could have you could make a vid of just your guitarist demoing this amp without any added effects. I have this amp and you really have to dial in your tone...a very unforgiving amp for the matter of tone. you really have to get it just right.
