...the father was revealed in Jesus. Jesus is not a member of the God-head. The full God-head was in Jesus.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
You are complete by believing in Jesus! The fullness of the diety dwells in HIM. He is your savior!
...It includes believing in Jesus, repenting from your sins, being baptized in water in the name of Jesus and God will seal you or fill you with the holy ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Is there bible for this. Yes certainly. All over. Here are the main scriptures for your personal study. I do not need to believe in a term called "trinity"; I must believe that Jesus is the way and follow his revelation.
...The book of acts and epistles only record one baptism, "in the name of Jesus". To go to greek philosophers in order to stablish biblical doctrine or doctrines of salvation is very dangerous because thats why God sent us the apostles. That was their job.
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed" - Gal 1:8.
The gospel of salvation was alredy stablish and it does not include believing in a trinity.
...The biggest problem with this new philosofy of the "trinity" is that it worked towards changing baptism from "the name of Jesus" to "father, son and holy ghost" (which is not a name rather titles of God - Those titles describe the three main relations of the one God to humanity).
So we conclude that the term "trinity" is not in the bible. The term God the son or God the holy Spirit is not in the bible. The term ONE is al over the bible. The triune baptism has not example in the bible...
... the doctrine of the trinity then you are going outside of the foundation that we are built upon. The apostles knew the whole truth about God and experienced the fullness of revelation. The greeks tried to pervert that revelation in order to merge the philosofers into one believe since christianity was becoming so powerful. But in the process they played with the logos and then created extrabiblical terminologies to explain their pre-existing doctrines but with the new face of christianity.
...The term "trinity" was not endorced by the apostles nor Jesus and if its such a foundational truth as to say that you must believe in the term "trinity" to be saved it should have been taught and endorsed by the apostles, "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone" Eph 2:20. Biblical doctrine is found on the bible. To say that you have to go outside of the apostles to a man called Justin Martyr and others to stablish ...
...It is very important that we do not use extrabiblical words to explain the God head. The apostles did not used the term God the son or God the Holy Ghost. Its not biblical. Theres the term the son of God which referes to the incarnation, (the work of the messiah). If you believe in a term as the "trinity" you are believing on a doctrine that was not ever mentioned nor explained by the apostles. Its a doctrine that changed the perspective of God and its traced back to the 2 and 3 century...
Let me clarify this a little further. The bible says in john 14:8-9- "Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
How can we say then that we will see a diferent persona from Jesus when we want to see the father? When you have seen Jesus you have seen the father. Settled. This is bible.

@JoshMcDowell Well if there are three then it can't really be mono.....

@Nextstopearth
Christianity is monotheistic--The Godhead is comprised of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit--three in one, the Trinity.
