  • @mondher1980 Verily, mondher1980. Thank you for being just yourself. [I always greeted my Saudi friend السلام عليكم! when he met me and, of course, he returned a hearty "and a Hebrew National 2 U, too, Jovano."] But that was a quiet, natural banter of mutual respect between us. Miss him.

May the spirit of Allah B with you and your family. May gender equality be quickly granted by your Monarchy and Princes. Blessings from Samarqand. [Yes, we miss Ofra (pbuh).]

  • reast in peace OFRA!!!!! du bist die nummer 1!!!

  • @3822218 Inshallah means "if G-d wills it." It is a common phrase found among Muslims but also Christian and Jewish Arabs. It may come as a surprise to you but many Israeli Jews speak Arabic as well as Hebrew.

  • @ihavecateyes

I'm okay with all of what you have said except " The word "Inshalla" is Arabic, not Islamic "

First, in sha' Allah is not a word but a sentence ( i said before it's a word but i was wrong )

Second, it's an Islamic sentence ( Muslims ordered to say it in quran & hadiths ), before Islam, Arabs didn't use it or say it.

anyway, thanks for clear some points to me

    Salam :)

  • @3822218 Ofra was a Yemenite Jew. In many Middle Eastern countries the language spoken is Arabic. The word "Inshalla" is Arabic, not Islamic (which is a religion). Ofra spoke at least three laguages that I know of which were Hebrew, English and Arabic, and used all three in different songs. Also, as a Jew in Israel....We're allowed to speak Arabic too, you know. :)
