@garytelecastor thats not dropt tines that weak sides or 3rd main beams. its like if a deer has a normal left side then an odd right side, deformed appearance.

if this is all the more excited these guys get over a big nasty like that? I am not so sure they need to be hunting.. my god man, I wouldnt be able to contain it

yes. Every year after the injury they grow the drop tine on the opposite side, at least according to a wildlife biologist I worked with at Cabelas.

Beautiful Hunt guys. What did he score out at? What were you shooting? Man I love venison. An interesting fact about the drop tine. Apparently one of the reasons it grows is at some time during the life of the deer the front forelock opposite the drop tine gets injured. From that time forward the drop tine grows. Biologists have no understanding why.
