Today a Saviour has been born to us; he is Christ the Lord. (the response R.)
O sing a new song to the Lord, sing to the Lord all the earth. O sing to the Lord, bless his name. R.
Proclaim his help day by day, tell among the nations his glory, and his wonders among all the peoples. R.
Let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad, let the sea and all within it thunder praise, let the land and all it bears rejoice, all the trees of the wood shout for joy at the presence of the Lord for he comes, he comes to rule the earth. R.
With justice he will rule the world, he will judge the peoples with his truth. R.

  • @REV16665 - If you have it, could you possibly upload the Gloria that was sung? I loved it. I live in Liverpool, I wish I'd been there. I was at my own churches Midnight Mass - And i'm Anglican!

  • @danmanny19 Sorry, but I only have Widor's Sanctus and Benedictus on the hard disk of my DVD recorder. (And they are on YouTube already.) The reason that the Gloria is nowhere to be found must be that I didn't like it enough. (No offence, of course.) Otherwise I would have kept it

  • @chinduneha So I guess you know now who composed this? I asked mermaidman100, the boy chorister of Liverpool Metro Cathedral Choir who posted a message here a few months ago, but his answer wasn't very helpful, unfortunately. So who did compose this? Thank you!

  • @mermaidman100 Hello again. One of the viewers of my YouTube video /watch?v=QUB9dJYn6H8, chinduneha, is wondering: 'any idea where I can get the score including the organ arrangement + descant for choir........?' Can you help him or her? And can you give me the name of the composer of this piece? And the name of the conductor and that of the organist? Thanks!!!
