@grnstar77 enjoy every minute of it and keep the camera ready because they will do the funniest things. Mine would turn at the same time in their sleep and lay in complete opposite directions. They are very protective of each other also. Mine looked alike as babies but were fraternal and started to grow more and more different. One has blue eyes and the other has brown, one natural curly curly hair and the other straight, in fact the only thing that is the same about them is their hair color.

nice. When my sister was 4 weeks, she had to have some surgery so she lost her fraternal twins that looked like orbs :(

Cool, I'm a twin, we're identical boys :-) Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of my girlfriend or wife having them or is it just concidential?

Identical twins are not hereditary. Fraternal twins, like I had, are and it is only the woman having the trait that affects it. For instance, if you carried the trait you wouldn't bring the chances up of you and your wife having twins. BUT you would pass that trait along to your daughter, and that would raise the chances of HER having twins.

PS: Take your mom and dad out for a nice dinner, because raising twins is the hardest thing in the world.

@grnstar77 boy, it is. I have almost 19 year old twins, Fraternal and it was crazy but enjoyed every minute of it. And to AuntyMags, she is completly right, your girlfriend would have to carry the genes for twins in order for her to have them.
grnstar, did you go full term, that ultrasound brings back so many memories. lol

@palapala6 I made it all the way to 38 weeks. my water broke two days before I was scheduled for the csection. These two crazy babies are now a little over three years old. What a wild ride it's been so far. <3
