were you aloowed to choose what type of ring they put in cause i want one but i have to hide it from my parents and i want a clear stud so i can cover it with foundstion so it looks like a pimple til its ready to be changed

@gottaloveMONICAA01 well i'm not sure if you can put a plastic one in or not i dont think so though...and i wouldn't recommend putting foundation over a new piercing....tried the same thing for hiding purposes and it just resulted in huge infection...

@DaniJoyy The obnoxiously long studs are completely needed. You'd be amazed how much that piercing can swell up. Those long studs give just enough room for swelling. I've had my monroe done twice now. The first time, the piercer A) placed it way to low on my lip and B) didn't use a long enough stud. It was insanely painful because it got really tight from the swelling and kept getting caught on my tooth because of how low it was. I just got it redone a few days ago at a better piercer.
